Personalized programing for semi-private sessions will be continued. Developing a personal art practice with Humes' support, utilizing her holistic approach to art creation and teaching, participants receive an ongoing enriched studio experience.

S.O.C.S.

Saturdays Openly Creative Studio for young people!                       

S.O.C.S. is a creative drop in studio for young people. A family friendly Saturday stop for the young and young at heart. This is an organically structured venue for the young to utilize my studio for their studio with child friendly materials onsite.

There is a $5. fee and materials are included. Once participants pay, they are free to come and go for the day. Children may bring their adults along            free of charge.

Child friendly materials are onsite. 

This is a program that I personally subsidize, donations are most welcome. 

Semi-private Art Classes

1 1/2 hours ~ $25.

Private Art Classes 1 1/2 hours ~ $45.

  • fees do not include materials.
  • please pay by the month.
  • please stock quality non-toxic childrens' art supplies from a reputable art supply house.
  • suggested materials unless specified are: soft oil pastels, chalk pastels, water colours and water colour brushes (a variety of good student quality synthetics), inks and droppers, good graphite sticks/pencils (HB-B7), cante, charcoal. multi-purpose art papers, pastel paper, water colour paper, hard cover sketch books, canvas pads, acrylic paints with small prepared canvases are also acceptable. 
  • bring hard cover sketch books please! This keeps your childrens' work organized and preserved in an easily stored format.
